KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Wednesday killed two people and arrested 11 others in an encounter and targeted raids, respectively, in different parts of Karachi.
According to a statement issue here, the Rangers conducted intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Nawa Lane Lyari, Orangi, Shah Faisal and Jamshed Town.
Two terrorists affiliated with Lyari Gangs, Wasi Lakhu faction of Ustad Taju group, were killed in exchange of fire with Rangers at Nawa Lane Lyari, while in targeted raids eight criminals.
The paramilitary force also recovered weapons and ammunition from their possession. They also apprehended three suspects during snap checking in Gaddap, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Malir Town areas and recovered arms from their possession.
