#8221; birds especially houbara bustard in the protected areas of the province.

He further revealed the reasons behind the rejection of the application.
“First they don
’;t have a good track record. Whenever they go for hunting, they annoy the local community by damaging their crops and excessively hunting precious and rar
e birds. Secondly, we have signed treaties with international community to protect these rare species in our region,” he said.
It is pertinent to mention that last ye
ar a Qatari prince, Dr Fahad was caught hunting in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa without permission and was subsequently fined Rs 80,000 by the authorities.
